Overview

Both Visual Studio 2008 and ASP.NET 3.5 provide integrated support for ASP.NET AJAX and client-side scripting. This course provides an overview of what ASP.NET AJAX is and demonstrates how to utilize ASP.NET AJAX and client-side script in web applications using Visual Studio 2008. Specific topics covered include the support for AJAX in the latest version of ASP.NET, how web forms can take advantage of ASP.NET AJAX controls, what the client-side library is and how both ASP.NET and AJAX interact with it, and finally how to handle common events raised by ASP.NET AJAX components.
