This course covers the practical usage of MPLS technology for today’s networks and emparts an awareness of how this complex protocol operates, as well as provides students confidence to use this feature in their own network.


Students enrolled in this course should have a previous exposure to advanced routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS. This course fully assumes knowledge of the configuration of all dynamic routing protocols, and this knowledge is a key element in the configuration of MPLS. Successful completion of the following courses (or equivalent experience) is strongly recommended:
