With our Practice Labs for Cisco we cover topics for ICND (1 & 2), CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Security and the more advanced topics of the CCNP exams (Routing, Switching and Troubleshooting) all using real Cisco equipment. The associated lab guides cover exam and real world scenarios for each of these technologies which are carried out on real equipment.
Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 1 (ICND1) 2.0
The Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 1 (ICND1) course is the first step into Cisco networking. The goal of this course is to provide students with the key, fundamental skills, needed to successfully configure, operate, and maintain Cisco routers and switches. View Course Details
Students who have attended the ICND1 course will gain competency with Cisco IOS-based devices and ISR-capable routers. Crucial elements of this course include the coverage of IPv4 subnetting, ACLs, VLANs, as well as Static and Dynamic Routing which are all needed for success at all levels of Cisco certification. IPv6 is also introduced with a focus on static routing and OSPFv3. ICND1 should be considered a prerequisite for entry into ICND Part 2.This course is preparation for both the CCNA Routing and Switching and Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) exams. Students pursuing the CCNA Routing and Switching certification should attend parts 1 & 2 of the ICND courses.
There are no prerequisites for this course. However, a basic understanding of computer systems and network technologies is expected. Students new to computer and network architecture should consider taking the CompTIA N+ course prior to entry into the challenging Cisco curriculum to get the most out of their classroom experience.
CCNA Routing and Switching
200-120 CCNA (CCNA requires ICND Part 2 in addition to ICND Part 1 or 200-120 CCNA by itself)
Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 1 is an essential course for students preparing for the CCNA Routing and Switching or CCENT certifications. Students pursuing the CCNA Routing and Switching certification should attend parts 1 & 2 of the ICND course. Students pursuing the CCENT certification need only attend part 1 of the ICND curriculum.
Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 2 (ICND2) 2.0
The Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 2 (ICND2) course is the second half of the ICND curriculum associated with the CCNA Routing and Switching certification.
