  • recognize the elements required to create external route plans in Cisco CallManager and identify the steps in the route plan configuration process.
  • configure route groups, lists, and patterns in a basic external route plan.
  • perform the steps necessary to configure a basic route plan.
  • recognize how Cisco CallManager analyzes dialed digits to determine where to route calls.
  • recognize how route groups, route lists, and route patterns are used in a basic route plan to route calls to the IP WAN or PSTN.
  • configure route filters in Cisco CallManager.
  • apply the discard digits instructions (DDIs) available in Cisco CallManager.
  • configure transformation masks in an advanced route plan.
  • configure translation patterns and generate a route plan report.
  • perform the steps necessary to configure a complex route plan.
