Overview

The connection between the service provider and its customers is often referred to as the last mile. Over the years, the connection options have begun a shift from more traditional TDM connections to fiber optic and Ethernet technologies. Knowledge of these technologies is important for those who work on edge devices in a customer or service provider domain. This course covers technologies used for this connectivity between WAN providers and their customers. This course is one of a series in the Skillsoft learning path that covers the objectives for the Cisco exam Building Cisco Service Provider Next-Generation Networks Part 1 exam (640-875 SPNGN1). This exam counts toward the CCNA Service Provider certification.

Target Audience
